NEW FOR 2014: TEXT MESSAGE FEATURE

IntelliLink now keeps you connected to your most important contacts by providing alerts of incoming text messages. You can configure the system to have incoming text messages read out aloud. 2014 Verano drivers with iPhones® can now access Siri, Apple’s voice-activated digital assistant, hands-free. Siri Eyes Free®† allows hands-free interaction when you need it the most. Simply pair your iPhone® with the Bluetooth®-enabled† Buick IntelliLink system, and then use the steering-wheel-mounted voice command button to activate Siri Eyes Free.† You can make calls, compose text or e-mail messages to stored contacts, and access other iPhone® functions, all without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.

MOVIES

Dinner and a movie? Now you can choose the theater and feature you wish to see, right from your front seat. Travel Link provides you with access to more than 4,500 movie theaters and allows you to search information by movie title, show time, driving distance and more. You can also designate a favorite theater, and Travel Link will provide you with a route to it.

WEATHER

Be prepared for anything Mother Nature throws your way. Travel Link weather updates provide up-to-the-minute weather information, along with 5-day forecasts and alerts from the National Weather Service and other government agencies — including those for hurricanes, tornadoes and other severe weather events.

FUEL

Take the guesswork out of the gas work. Travel Link can provide fuel prices for more than 10,000 gas stations, and enables you to sort locations by lowest price, driving distance, brand name and more. It will also provide you with a route to the station of your choice.

POINTS OF INTEREST

When your Buick IntelliLink system is in Navigation† mode, Points of Interest (POI) — including restaurants, gas stations, attractions, and more — display automatically. You can also choose to show or hide POIs or view them by category (Restaurants, Hotels, Shopping, Banks & Businesses, Travel, Public Places, Automotive, Leisure, Emergency, and more).

DESTINATIONS

Touch the Destination† icon on your Buick IntelliLink home screen to access directions and routes to specific destinations. You can also save frequently traveled routes and addresses, so you can get on your way even faster.
